This was a hard day. Relatively hot and lottttsssa elevation gain. But we made our first big landmark. The North Carolina state line! It's 630 and we all just want to get in bed. The not so glamorous part of Trail Lyfe.
My feet are gross and soap does not help. I think its funny. Becca and Sarah (aka Pippi Longstockings ) are quite worried and made me wash them at a beautiful spring in bly gap with pine tar soap Sward bought in town. But this is Day 3 with hiking in Chacos. I'm almost confident enough to send my shoes away.
