Day 30: 16 miles gets you over a mountain

We pretty much started at the base.of a mountain, or maybe what could be considered a mini range. All morning we.climbed to an amazing ridgeline trail that is so exposed, the trail offers a foul weather detour.

On the way down the mountain we hiked on new trail. The guthook app indicated the trail on the opposite ridge face from what we went on. The new trail was soft and squishy and easy on the knees for most.of the descent off the mountain.

We hit the 300 mile mark!

Thats about it. 16 miles gets up over and back down a mountain.

If we do 12 miles before 3pm tomorrow, we may catch an advertised hiker feed.
