Day 104: PA Rocks

We woke up early to hitch from Port Clinton a few miles to hamburg's walmart. Again, very difficult hitch and worse because it was 7am when we started. All these people are driving to work and don't have time for stinky hikers. Fortunately we got a ride from a woman, we think we remember her name as Joanna (hopefully), who had just spent the weekend slackpacking other hikers. So she was familiar with the scene. I think maybe more than half of the wonderful people that pick us up are repeat offenders that recognize us as hikers and not feral trash. The other drivers must not care. Anyway, we love them all.

So resupply at Wallyworld, lunch at the in house subway/aunt annies pretzels, then we "hey mister" 'd our way back to the trail. When did Wallyworld kick out the golden arches and swap in these combo subways? So far we have been to at least 2.

Once again a steep out to a very rocky ridgeline hike. And they did not stop. We barely found a big enough flat patch to put our tent. We are around mile 1225.5.

Tomorrow will be 1234.5 day!

Becca wants me to acknowledge that I hogged an entire liter of bolthouse farms coffee drink. Spray poop here I come.
