Day 108: Ugh, rocks

We went into wind gap today for supplies and other chores, so we only did 11 miles. And most of those miles sucked.

Last night people came into camp well after dark and we woke up to them setting up, even though they tried to be quiet. In the morning, they were also very polite. And when we got out of the tent we were surprised to find Hollywood and MacDaddy were our late arrivals. We haven't seen Hollywood for hundreds of miles, though we knew that group was usually just a day or 2 behind. It was great catching up.

We walked into town and decided to do laundry as we passed by the laundromat. Then a delicious lunch at the Beer Stein. It's too bad they don't do the camping thing anymore. We would have eaten 3 or 4 meals there easy.

After lunch, we did a quick and junky resupply ar a gas station to get us just one day into Delaware gap, where we have been planning to meet the colonel. He is being extremely generous in his offer to house us for a night. We are so excited to hang out with a fellow beer nerd.

On the way up and out of town we saw Hollywood and MacDaddy again who were kind enough to share beers with us as we gossiped and shared stories about the last.... dang it was daleville since we saw them, so.... 600 miles?  Weird.

Another amazing old friend siting happened as we were talking when paisley walked up to us. She has new battlescars to show for her hike. We haven't seen her since Trail days! It's so great to see her and hear about the people we know just behind us.

We are extremely anxious to get done with these godforsaken rocks.
