Day 128: Are we the last people on the AT?

Where is everyone? We haven't seen anyone we know for days. The only nobos are yunyuns that do twice the miles.we.do amd just fly past us. Are we the last people of our bubble on the at? Is everyone days ahead of us or just a few.miles?

This morning, on the climb up into the tallest mountains we have seen in weeks maybe months, we hit 1500 miles! BOOM!

last night, we woke to the some of the creepiest noise yet. The first seemed to be a yelling hoat. The only noise i can compare with is the time a couple dogs dragged a screaming fawn out of the woods by the neck. Then there were very close coyote yips. Then a crazy huge sounding bird must have perched directly above our tent and did its honking call. Finally, as the sun came up, two small explosions seemed.to go off in the marsh beyond the stand of trees.we were.in. bigger than guns, smaller than dynamite.

Today may have been one of the prettiest sections we've done in a long long time. Though there were many climbs, when's the last time we got over 2500 ft? And exposed ridges too! Actually dizzying.

Sages ravine was an awesome intermediary between 2 huge miuntains, full of waterfalls and pools and narrows. At the end of the ravine we saw the signs welcoming us to Massachusetts!
