Mud spots everywhere, but luckily easily traversed. So the name people give to Vermont, Vermud, is apt.
We accidentally went 17 miles today. Mostly in an effort to reduce our miles for our town day tomorrow. We need a hotel stay.
Our day was basically spent going over Stratton Mountain. The highest point on the AT in VT. Another mountain another tower. Great views despite scary clouds everwhere.
Our evening was once again a race to set up the tent before the rain gets us. So far the thunder seems to be passing us by however.
