Wonderful night. Made myself get out to pee so I could see the stars. We were so comfortable in our sleeping bags. We slept great. We also made ourselves sit up to catch the sunrise and then went back to sleep till 7. Actually getting up was a hard moment. But we had miles to put in.
We did 17.9 today because we once again had.to go past a beautiful pond that requires 5 bucks a person for tent camping. Pshh. It wouldn't be like this if the trail weren't so popular. They actually say one of the goals.of.the fee is to reduce the people's desire.to stay there.
So we went on to the next water source but ended up backtracking to go to a campsite we knew.was actually there.instead.of venturing forward into the unkown. It was getting late.
